Public Notice is hereby given that on August 13, 2013, an application for a Medical Marijuana Center License to be issued to J and J Enterprises, Inc. was filed with the Board of County Commissioners of Archuleta County, Colorado. The premises is to be known as (dba) Pagosa Organic Therapeutics, and more particularly described as 298 Bastille Drive Unit A7.

Notice is further given that a hearing for said application will be held on December 2, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. in the Archuleta County Emergency Operations Center located at 777 County Road 600, Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

At said time and place, all parties of interest shall be allowed to appear in support of, or in opposition to, the granting of said license by petitions, objections or personal appearances. Petitions or objections may be filed in the said County Commissioners’ Office in the Archuleta County Courthouse, 449 San Juan St., Pagosa Springs, Colorado, prior to said hearing.

PUBLIC HEARING

The Town of Pagosa Springs Town Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday December 12, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chambers to approve the 2014 proposed budget and capital program for the Town of Pagosa Springs and the Sanitation General Improvement District. Copies of the proposed budget and the proposed capital projects programs are available for public inspection in the office of the Town Clerk in the Town Hall.

Local Public Notice for TV Translator K40GE-D, Pagosa Springs, Colorado

On November 11, 2013 KOB-TV, LLC tendered to the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, DC, an application for the renewal of the license of TV translator station K40GE-D, Pagosa, Colorado as its community of license by broadcasting on output channel 40 from a transmitter site approximately 6.7 miles southwest of Pagosa Springs, in Archuleta County. K40GE-D rebroadcasts the signal of KOBF(TV), Farmington, New Mexico, which broadcasts on transmit channel 12 and virtual channel 12. Individuals may advise the FCC of facts relating to this renewal application and whether the station has operated in the public interest.
