FIRST READING

The first reading of Ordinance No. 797 (Series 2013) was completed at the Pagosa Springs Town Council Meeting held on October 1, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. ORDINANCE 797, AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF PAGOSA SPRINGS REVISING CHAPTER 17 AND 18 OF THE TOWN CODE REGARDING SNOW ROUTE PROHIBITIONS AND DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE TOWN MANAGER TO PLACE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES. Violation of this Ordinance is subject to enforcement and punishment pursuant to Article 3, Chapter 1 of the Pagosa Springs Municipal Code, including Section 1.3.3. providing for a fine not to exceed $1,000, or incarceration for not to exceed 1 year, or both. The full text of the ordinance, including any amendments, is available for public inspection at the office of the Town Clerk at Town Hall.

The second reading of Ordinance No. 796 (Series 2013) was completed at the Pagosa Springs Town Council Meeting held on October 1, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. ORDINANCE 796, AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF PAGOSA SPRINGS AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF THE PAGOSA SPRINGS MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION THERETO OF A NEW ARTICLE 5 PROHIBITING THE SALE AND CULTIVATION OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA, INCLUDING MEDICAL MARIJUANA CENTERS, OPTIONAL PREMISES CULTIVATION OPERATIONS AND MEDICAL MARIJUANA-INFUSED PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING, AND A NEW ARTICLE 6 PROHIBITING THE OPERATION OF MARIJUANA CLUBS, MARIJUANA CULTIVATION FACILITIES, MARIJUANA PRODUCT MANUFACTURING FACILITIES, MARIJUANA TESTING FACILITIES AND RETAIL MARIJUANA STORES; WHICH ORDINANCE WILL AUTOMATICALLY EXPIRE ON MARCH 1, 2015, UNLESS EXTENDED OR READOPTED. The ordinance went into effect October 1, 2013 and the full text of the ordinance, including any amendments, is available for public inspection at the office of the Town Clerk at Town Hall.

NOTICE OF BUDGET

COLORADO’S TIMBER RIDGE METROPOLITAN DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Board of Directors of Colorado’s Timber Ridge Metropolitan District for the budget year 2014. A copy of such prepared budget has been filed at the office of the President of the District, Ivo Brieven, 1428 Cool Pines Drive, Pagosa Springs, Colorado, where the same is open for public inspection. Such proposed budget will be considered at the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of Colorado’s Timber Ridge Metropolitan District to be held at the Colorado’s Timber Ridge HOA Clubhouse, 31 Shooting Star Drive, Pagosa Springs, Colorado, on Monday October 21st 2013 at 07.00 PM. Any interested elector within Colorado’s Timber Ridge Metropolitan District may inspect the proposed budget and file or register any objections thereto at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget.

The Town Council for the Town of Pagosa Springs will be holding a public hearing for a Hotel and Restaurant license application for JJ’s Chillin & Grillin LLC located at 356 E Pagosa Street. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday November 5, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers at Town Hall 551 Hot Springs Blvd. All people wishing to comment should be present at that meeting or have written comments in the office of the Town Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on November 1, 2013.
