ORDINANCE 10, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY BY THE TOWN OF PAGOSA SPRINGS SANITATION GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, ACTING BY AND THROUGH ITS WASTEWATER ACTIVITY ENTERPRISE OF A LOAN AGREEMENT WITH THE COLORADO WATER RESOURCES AND POWER DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, AND THE ISSUANCE OF A GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY BOND IN AN AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,000,000, EVIDENCING THE OBLIGATION OF THE ENTERPRISE UNDER THE LOAN AGREEMENT; PROVIDING THE FORM OF THE BOND AND OTHER DETAILS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH. ORDINANCE 781, AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF PAGOSA SPRINGS, COLORADO, CALLING FOR A SPECIAL ELECTION OF THE REGISTERED ELECTORS OF THE TOWN TO BE HELD ON APRIL 23, 2013 AS A POLLING PLACE ELECTION AND SETTING THE BALLOT TITLE FOR A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE HOME RULE CHARTER REQUIRING VOTER APPROVAL PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION OR OPERATION OF ANY AMUSEMENT RIDES IN THE RESERVOIR HILL RECREATION AREA. PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that Mineral County, Colorado has adopted amendments to the Mineral County Zoning Regulations effective on the 7th day of January 2013. These amendments create a new Zone District entitled the Residential High Density (RH) District and are applicable to all private lands within Mineral County except land within the limits of any incorporated City or Town. A copy of the Mineral County Zoning Regulations as amended through January 7, 2013 is available for public inspection and is on file in the office of the Mineral County Clerk and Recorder in the Mineral County Courthouse, Creede, Colorado. The Regulations provide for extensive civil penalties an criminal penalties for violations. The maximum criminal penalties are a fine of one hundred dollars or imprisonment in a county jail for ten days or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day of violation constitutes a separate offense.

Highway 160 Sidewalk Replacement

(South Side 1st Street to 2nd Street)

The Town of Pagosa Springs, Colorado is in the process of finalizing the above listed project constructed by U-Can-Afford Landscaping, Inc. (UCAL). The project also included some sidewalk repair and access ramp construction along U.S. Highway 160 in the 200 and 400 blocks. Any claims against this project by suppliers, subcontractors, or others should be delivered to the project engineering firm of Davis Engineering Service, Inc. at 188 S. 8th Street, P.O. Box 1208, Pagosa Springs, Colorado 81147. All claims shall be delivered prior to February 18, 2013. Any claims received on or after February 18, 2013 shall not be considered. Claim forms can be obtained from Davis Engineering Service, Inc. (Phone 970-264-5055).

for the furnishing and installation of Improvements to the Archuleta County Airport – Stevens Field, Schedule II – Acquisition of Medium Duty Plow Truck with Two-Ton End Dump Body, AIP Project No. 3-08-0066-20 and any person, co-partnership, association or corporation who has an unpaid lien against said Transwest Freightliner, LLC. for or on account of the furnishing of labor, materials, team hire, sustenance, provision, provender or other supplies used or consumed by such Contractor or any of the subcontractors in or about the performance of said work, may at any time up to and including said time of final settlement on said 1st day of March, 2013, file a verified statement in the amount due and unpaid on account of such claim with Archuleta County.

Failure on the part of the claimant to file such final statement will relieve said Owner from all and any liability for such claim.

Sealed bids will be received by the Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District (District), 100 Lyn Avenue, P.O. Box 4610, Pagosa Springs, Colorado 81157, until 10:00 a.m. on February 7, 2013. Bids received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

At 10:00 a.m. on February 7, 2013, the bid opening shall be held at the District Conference Room at 100 Lyn Avenue, Pagosa Springs, Colorado; all Bids that have been duly received will be opened publicly and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities therein, and all Bidders shall agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the District for any damage or claim brought by any Bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the Bidders seek any recourse of any kind against the District because of such rejections. The filing of any Bid in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Bidder to these conditions.

The work to be performed generally includes, but may not be limited the following components: The District is seeking a Supplier to furnish a Complete Compressed Air System for the Hatcher Water Treatment Plant. The project includes all associated materials, equipment and appurtenances required for a completely functioning system and as identified in the Bid Specifications.
