NOTICE OF MAIL BALLOT ELECTION

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN and particularly to the electors of the Aspen Springs Metropolitan District of Archuleta County, State of Colorado:

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that a Regular Mail Ballot Election for the Aspen Springs Metropolitan District shall be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. The election is being conducted as a Mail Ballot Election. Mail ballots will be mailed to eligible electors between April 14, 2014 and April 18, 2014.

NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF ELECTION and

CERTIFIED STATEMENT OF RESULTS

(C.R.S. Sections 1-5-208(1.5), 1-10-203, 32-1-104)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Upper San Juan Health Service District d/b/a Pagosa Springs Medical Center District, Archuleta, Hinsdale and Mineral Counties, Colorado, that at the close of business on the sixty-third day before the election, there were not more candidates for positions of director than positions to be filled, including candidates filing affidavits of intent to be write-in candidates; therefore, the election to be held on May 6 , 2014 is hereby canceled pursuant to section C.R.S. Section 1-5-208(1.5). The following candidates are hereby declared elected:

Richard A. Zak, 4 year term until May 2018;

Mark B. Floyd, 4 year term until May 2018;

Gregory J. Schulte, 4 year term until May 2018;

Gerald L. Baker, 4 year term until May 2018; and

Kathryn J. Alfred, 2 year term until May 2016.

PUBLIC HEARING

The Town Council for the Town of Pagosa Springs will be holding a public hearing for a Hotel and Restaurant license application for Pagosa Lodging 2 LLC dba Rez Hill Grill located at 158 Hot Springs Blvd. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday May 6, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers at Town Hall 551 Hot Springs Blvd. All people wishing to comment should be present at that meeting or have written comments in the office of the Town Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 2, 2014.

The Town has received an Application for “The Vacation of Public Right of Way (ROW)” for the unimproved portion of the 6/7th Alley ROW between the Navajo Street ROW and the Piedra Street ROW, AND the Vacation of the unimproved portion of Navajo Street ROW between S. 7th Street ROW and S. 6th Street ROW.

The Town Planning Commission will consider making a recommendation to Town Council regarding the “Vacation of Public Right of Way” Application, at a Public Hearing on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at 5:30pm in Town Hall.

The Town Council will consider the Application for “Vacation of Public Right of Way” and the recommendation from the Planning Commission, at a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 5pm in Town Hall.

Verbal Public comments will be accepted at each scheduled Public Hearing.

Written Public comments should be received by the Town Planning Department, 8 days prior to each scheduled public hearing, to ensure written comments are included in the board packets that are sent out 7 days prior to each scheduled public hearing.
