Special to The PREVIEW
Holiday shoppers, you have until 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, to order your beautiful handmade wreaths and table arrangements from the Russ Hill Wreath Bazaar at the Methodist Church.
You can stop by the church Monday through Friday next week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to see the wreaths being made and to place your order. (The workshop will close Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 in observance of Thanksgiving). You can also phone in an order at 264-4538
There are three sizes of wreaths to choose from this year, measuring approximately 18 inches, 25 inches and 33 inches across. The basic cost of the decorated wreaths are $25, $30 and $50 respectively. Arrangements begin at $15.
The making of these wreaths is a labor of love and a festive time. All the profits from the endeavor are distributed to organizations in the community through mini grants. Thousands of dollars are awarded to deserving groups each year.
So, brighten the lives of others, send a beautiful gift to someone you care about, or add a festive decorations to your own home. And, remember, these wreaths are very fresh, made from recently-collected local boughs and cones. In our winter climate, they will last outside for your enjoyment for many weeks.
