Pirates split two more league games, rematches with Centauri and Monte set for this weekend

For the second straight week, the No. 28 Pagosa Springs High School Pirate basketball team split two road games with league foes, defeating the No. 63 Bayfield Wolverines (1-14 overall, 0-6 in league play) 70-33 on Jan. 31 and losing a close one to the No. 25 Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (9-6 overall, 3-3 in league play) by a score of 55-51 on Feb. 1.
