Pirates lose a tough one to Tigers, take on Centauri tomorrow at home

Senior Pirate running back Connor Aragon looks to break a tackle and navigate a running lane during Pagosa’s game against La Junta on Aug. 31, Aragon finished with 71 yards rushing on 14 carries, but the Pirates fell to the Tigers 24-14.

In a return to La Junta on Aug. 31 the score was different, but unfortunately the result was the same for the Pagosa Springs High School Pirate football team as it fell to the No. 2-ranked La Junta Tigers 24-14.
