Pirates fall to Monte Vista, hammer Sanford

It was a mixed bag of results for Pagosa Springs High School (PSHS) Pirate baseball over the last week, with the team dropping a pair of league games to Monte Vista Saturday in Monte Vista, but defeating the Sanford Indians in convincing fashion Tuesday afternoon in Pagosa.

With the games the Pirates are now 2-9 on the season and fall to 0-2 in league play.
