Save the date: the annual summer cheer clinic will be conducted by the high school Pirate cheerleaders on Aug. 8 and 9.
The clinic at the high school is for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Beginner to intermediate cheerleading techniques will be taught. Learn a dance, new cheers and chants, plus jumps and stunts. Guys and girls are all welcome.
Camp for students in kindergarten and first grade is held 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Sessions for campers in second to eighth grade are 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The camp fee is $20 and two days of cheerleading fun includes lunch (hot dog, chips, drink).
Registration each day is from 8:45-10 a.m. at the high school.
