Pirate baseball to resume Tuesday afternoon at home

The Pagosa Springs High School Pirate baseball team will again take on the Centauri Falcons at home this afternoon, with action beginning at 2 p.m.
The Pirates welcomed the Falcons for a doubleheader Monday afternoon, defeating their visitors 12-6 in the first game.
However, the second game was suspended in the bottom of the third inning due to weather, with Centauri leading Pagosa 7-1 at the time. This afternoon’s action will pick up where that game left off.
Due to the suspended game being finished, the Pirates’ game at Salida that was originally scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled due to Tuesday being the final day of the regular season.
