Pagosa Springs Church of Christ Vacation Bible School

It is time again for the annual, free Vacation Bible School at the Pagosa Springs Church of Christ, located at 277 Lewis St.

Vacation Bible School begins next Monday and runs through Friday, July 22-26, at the church building, from 9:30–11:30 a.m.

The youth group from Woodward, Okla., is planning on returning to work together with the Pagosa Springs church in the five-day VBS.

The theme for VBS is “Sailing with the Savior.”

Each day in class, the students will journey with Jesus as he lives his life on earth. Lesson themes for each day will be commitment, faith, respect, love and sharing. The Bible stories come to life with acting, puppets, games, quizzes, songs and crafts. Each child is actively engaged and encouraged as they learn great lessons through the week. Refreshments are served daily.

On Wednesday evening, the children put on a program demonstrating the things they have learned in VBS. At the end of the program there will also be an opportunity to visit the children’s classrooms and meet their teachers.

Vacation Bible School concludes on Friday with a hot dog picnic at South Park on 8th Street. Parents, family and friends are invited to those activities, as well as being encouraged to visit the daily classes at any time.

Transportation to VBS is provided in busses and vans. For the stop nearest you and time of pickup in your area, or for more information, call the church office at 264-2552, or Dorman Diller, minister, at 264-4454.

We would be delighted for your children to attend the free Vacation Bible School. Enrollment forms can be found in The SUN or posted around town. Call the office now and sign up your children so they can attend this exciting time of learning and growing.
