Red was a decent soul, an honest man with a genteel demeanor. He was a good electrician. I can testify to this because of my association with him on several commercial and residential jobs he ddi for me. A memory I have is when Red wired a complicated oven I was installing. The oven was from Europe and was not a typical electric configuration; it was one he was not familiar with. The manufacturer recommends a specially trained technician do the installation/wiring so as not to be liable for damage done if wired improperly. It’s a long way from Denver to Pagosa to have someone do the wiring. I asked Red to take a look at it, he did and said he thought he could do it. He was up for the challenge and I told him I trusted him. Needless to say, no problem with the wiring and we made many a fine baked product in that oven for our customers in Pagosa at The Rolling Pin Bakery and Cafe.
    Thanks, Red.
