Obituary-Brenda Tooker

obit---tooker-003Brenda Tooker, 65, of Pagosa Springs, passed away on Feb. 21, surrounded by her loving family at the Mayo Hospice of the Valley, Phoenix after a long illness with cancer. She was survived by her husband Kenneth Tooker, married for 43 years; mother Velma Wood; daughter Leigh Ann Moore of Fort Worth, Texas; granddaughter Alessandra Azar; great grandsons Noah Gonzalez, Bennett Azar-Marr’s; great grand daughter Alexa Gonzalez; sister Beverly Hollis; nieces Michelle Tascha, Stephanie Lancaster, Stacey Hollis, Ashley Hollis of Tulsa, Okla. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Elva Nickols and sister Betty Wood.

Brenda had a great sense of humor and a stunning smile. She loved the mountains of Colorado, Mother Nature and had a deep love for all animals. She enjoyed her camping, four-wheeling trips into the mountains, traveling the country in their motor home from Alaska to Key West, from California to Washington, D.C. and traveling the oceans on several cruise ships. We will miss you, Brendy Gal.
