Dear Editor:

Since the pavilion multi-use project is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), it will be built with donations and grants and profits will go to sports scholarships for kids. In summer, a hard floor will provide for roller skating, music, dances and private parties, plus summer activities for kids (the R.I.P. girls should be thrilled). In the winter, the regulation NHL-size ice rink will provide public skating, figure skating and hockey for kids and adults.

Behind this project is the dynamo, Kristal Fortune, who was three-time national ice dancing champion and world silver medalist. But this is a community project and she has helpers. Why don’t you join me and everyone else and make this happen?
