Put on the costumes, get ready for a night of great fun. The annual Monster’s Ball is set for Halloween night at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts.

There is blood pouring from the walls, the spider webs have gone unmanaged, the ghouls are crawling from their graves and the bandages of unwound mummies are blowing in the night air.

Sound inviting?

We hope so.

The Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts is hosting the second annual Monsters Ball on Halloween night.

Starting at 7 p.m., music by the Jelly Belly Boogie Band will get the ghosts shakin’ in their boots, with music from the ’40s, ’50s and ’60s until 11 p.m. when Cinderella turns back into your neighbor, the zombie becomes your accountant and Elvis begins to resemble your boss.

There will be cash prizes for costumes and a photo BOOth to capture the sights.

Tickets to the Ball are only $10 and can be purchased online at www.pagosacenter.org or by calling 731-SHOW.  They will also be available, cash only, at the door.  All proceeds from the event benefit Thingamajig Theatre Company.

See you there.
