Medical center sees gain to bottom line for March

Lt. Gov. Dianne Primavera, state staff, Colorado Department of Local Affairs’ Patrick Rondinelli and members of the Upper San Juan Health Service District Board of Directors toured Pagosa Springs Medical Center Friday morning before discussing challenges in health care and finances.

Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC) saw a gain of $43,000 to its bottom line in March — an improvement for the medical center over February’s bottom line, which was a loss of $510,000.
