Special to The PREVIEW
They have been called country.
They have been called rock n’ roll.
However you choose to describe them, there is no denying McKenzies Mill is causing quite a buzz in Music City.
The Red Ryder Rodeo Committee is bringing this band to town for two concerts: July 4 and July 6 at 6 p.m. in the rodeo arena.
Justin and Ryan Harris originally from West End, N.C., relocated to Nashville, Tenn., in 2005 where they immediately put a group of seasoned professional players together and began their musical journey to become Nashville’s next high energy, southern rock/country duo.
Writing their own material, they have earned the appreciation of many industry insiders. They have continued to travel the country while expanding their fan base in all directions as they garner national exposure. They are the recent winners of these prestigious challenges: Bud Light’s National Battle of the Bands, MGM Grand Las Vegas Gold Buckle Zone Headliner, and the Wildhorse Saloon’s Battle for the Saddle.
McKenzies Mill is characterized by their electrifying rock and roll stage presence, small town southern stories, and their undeniable sibling harmonies.
