Mayo Clinic Diet program at the community center

SUN Columnist

The Wellness Center presents a Ross Aragon Community Center program on Wednesdays from noon-1 p.m., beginning Jan. 9.

The three-month program consists of weekly lectures covering diet and exercise, using the well-known Mayo Clinic Diet book and journal.

For $50 a month (some financial assistance available), you will get exclusive Wellness Center incentives such as free fitness classes, discounts at local restaurants for healthy menu items, and much more.

So, jump on board, kick those old habits, and start 2013 with an action plan for change.

For more information about this exciting program, call 731-9545, Ext. 291.

Indoor soccer

The Ross Aragon Community Center is starting up its free indoor soccer program starting Saturday, Jan. 19, from 10 a.m.- noon.

This is a great opportunity for kids to learn how to play this sport, or for kids to sharpen up their soccer skills through the winter months.

There is no age limit for this inside play.

Call the community center for more information at 264-4152.
