Masonic Lodge to host presentation on Order of the Eastern Star

On Tuesday, May 1, Pagosa Masonic Lodge No. 114 will be hosting a special presentation on the Order of the Eastern Star. This will take place at the Masonic Lodge, located at 227 Lewis St.
After a brief closed lodge meeting at 7 p.m., there will be an open spaghetti dinner (no cost) in the basement recreation area followed by a special presentation by several Grand Lodge officers about this world-wide Masonic appendant body open to both men and women.
The Eastern Star Order is based on teachings from the Bible, but is open to people of all religious beliefs.
Members of the Order of the Eastern Star are aged 18 or older, men must be a master Mason, and women must have some Masonic connection, such as being a daughter, widow, sister, mother, etc. If you are interested in finding out about the Eastern Star, are a member, have been a member in the past, or are visiting or a new resident of Pagosa Springs, we invite you to come.
