Special to The PREVIEW

Seeds of Learning’s Parent Advisory Committee will be hosting “March to the Movies” on Saturday, March 23.

There will be two family movies showing at Liberty Theater. “The Little Mermaid” starts at 10:30 a.m. (doors open at 9:30 a.m.) and “Shark Tale” starts at 1:30 p.m. (doors open at 10:30 a.m.).

The doors open early for everyone to come for a yummy snack sale, a costume contest, and pictures with characters from “The Little Mermaid.”

We are encouraging everyone to come dressed as their favorite movie character. We will have prizes for the best individual and the best family.

Students from the high school drama club will be there in costume to promote their spring play which happens to be “The Little Mermaid.” Children will be able to take a picture with the characters for $1 and the picture will be ready for them right after the movie.

Tickets are on sale until March 21 at Seeds of Learning. They are $5 per person, with children under 2 free. Tickets will then also be sold at the door. Cash only on the day of the event.

All proceeds from the event go to continuing the outstanding education and loving care of the children and their families at Seeds of Learning.
