Dear Editor:

To my fellow Pagosans:

We recently collected our neighbors’ mail for them for four days during their absence. We just bagged it for them. They found mail in the bag for eight other people — three for us, five for another neighbor, and mail for six strangers.

This is outrageous, but the worst part is that it is not a new problem. Ask anyone who gets mail at the Antelope station. What is the solution? I’m contacting the Postmaster General, how about you?

E-mail call (800) 275-8777. Snail mail is Postmaster General, U.S. Postal Service, 457 L’enfant Plaza SW, Washington DC 20260-0010.

Try e-mail first, call second and write third. Use certified mail if mailing a letter and include details of your complaint.

Mary Meyer
