Kain Lucero and Zachariah Griego, two members of the Pagosa Springs Pirates 2013 state champion basketball team, were selected to participate in the Colorado High School Coaches Association’s 56th All-State Games June 5-8 on the campus of Adams State University and at Alamosa High School.

According to the association’s website, this year’s event included boys and girls basketball, football, softball, volleyball and wrestling, but, “CHSCA is working to include additional sports in the future, with the hope of including all CHSAA (Colorado High School Athletic Association) sports in the multi-sport festival.  The CHSCA All-State Games goal is to make this the premier high school multi-sport athletic event in the Rocky Mountain region.”
