Special to The PREVIEW
Remember how excited you were to go to your prom? You couldn’t wait to see your girlfriends all dressed up, and you couldn’t wait to show off your new prom dress.
Prom Night at the Little Black Dress Affair will be just as exciting. You’ll see all your Pagosa girlfriends dressed to impress. But you have to hurry — the tables are filling up.
Join us on Oct. 14, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Ross Aragon Community Center to show off your style and help at-risk preschoolers at the same time.
This year our silent auction committee worked to think “outside the gift box” to delight you. The result is that while you are “seeing” and “being seen,” you’ll enjoy bidding on unique items created just for our silent auction by extraordinarily talented local individuals. These exceptional friends of Seeds are unleashing their imaginations and donating the results to help raise funds for our most vulnerable students.
Even more unique, instead of asking our businesses for donations, these artists are actually purchasing items locally to add to their masterpieces. We can’t thank our generous local merchants enough for their amazing support of this event over the past nine years. For a change this year, we hope to make a “buy” instead of an “ask” from many of you.
Don’t miss this fun evening. Tickets are all reserved for $55 this year and you can still set aside your special table for eight. Reserve your seat at Seeds of Learning, 575 S. 7th St., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call for more information: 264-5513.
Dust off that gown, gather your “girls” and join us for an evening that promises to be as much fun, maybe more, than your first prom.
