Dear Editor:

On a recent return from the annual Bryce Canyon astronomy festival, it was a pleasure to be with folks who really care about saving, protecting our night sky. Please, folks, think about the switch you turn on for outdoor lighting and the stars you and your neighbors will not see in a dark sky.

If a right outdoor light need be on, try downward lighting or a motion light, less cost, less pollution.
