Thingamajig Theatre Company’s “Les Misérables in Concert,” playing at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts, is an unqualified hit with audiences, and for good reason. This blockbuster musical combines an epic story — with its universal and uplifting themes of hope and salvation — with gorgeously soaring melodies and unforgettable lyrics. If you’ve missed out on this magical show (it’s been sold out nightly for the entire run), you’re in luck. Thingamajig has extended the show for one matinee performance on Aug. 9 at 2 p.m. With a clear focus on storytelling and spectacular singing, this extravagant production will triumphantly close the same evening following the sold out 7 p.m. show. Get your tickets now and experience “Les Misérables in Concert.”

Thingamajig Theatre Company will proudly announce its 2014-2015 fall/winter season on Aug. 17, following the performance of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts. The event, beginning at 6 p.m., is open to current 2014 summer season ticket holders, sponsors and volunteers. Opportunities to purchase 2014-2015 season tickets will be available following the play selection announcement, allowing our 2014 summer season ticket holders the opportunity to secure their reserved seats for another season.

Offering the widest variety and most robust programming of any professional theater in the Four Corners area, Thingamajig Theatre currently produces five works of theater and two theatrical youth presentations throughout the fall and winter year, including contemporary works, comedies, musicals and family friendly fare. Add to this its annual summer repertory productions, a variety of concerts and special events, classes and outreach projects, and you will rarely find a quiet day or night at Thingamajig Theatre.
