A portion of the hillside behind Pagosa Springs High School slid recently, causing the school’s athletic and music wing to be closed for several days while mitigation work took place. The wing reopened Wednesday, and additional work on the hillside is anticipated to be completed this summer.
The music and athletic wing of Pagosa Springs High School (PSHS) closed late last week following a landslide behind that portion of the school, and remained closed until Wednesday morning.
