Homecoming festivities are in full tilt at Pagosa Springs High School (PSHS) this week and, in addition to all the activities going on during the school week, the PSHS Chapter of the National Honor Society extends an invitation to the community to attend its annual Alumni BBQ on Oct. 6 before the varsity football game against the Gunnison Cowboys that kicks off at 7 p.m.
Please come out to support some of PSHS’s most scholarly leaders, who will be serving freshly cooked hot dogs and hamburgers free of charge to all PSHS alumni and community members.
Leading up to the homecoming game, the high school has had a week of spirit-filled fun with a luau theme, and there will be a school-wide pep rally on Friday.
More than most of the events that the high school sponsors, homecoming really sets the tone for the rest of the year. We look forward to sharing the excitement taking place at the high school with you.
The Pagosa Springs Athletic Booster Club will be holding a silent auction for themed baskets starting before the homecoming football game from 6:15 p.m. until halftime. Baskets will include different themes including “movie night” and “winter wonderland.” All proceeds from the auction will support high school athletics.
