Hollywood is coming to Pagosa with Casino Night

By Shellie Peterson
Special to The PREVIEW

Make a date for an exceptionally exciting and fun night out on Saturday, Feb. 2, from 6-10 p.m. at the Ross Aragon Community Center.

There will be gaming, delicious food and beverages, music, dancing and auctions as the Pagosa Springs Rotary Club rolls out the red carpet for Hollywood Mania.

Everyone wins at Rotary’s Casino Night.  The biggest winner is the community, because funds raised at this event support a number of important local projects.

One significant program is the Scholarship Foundation, which has awarded over $303,500 to 127 Pagosa Springs High School graduates over the years.

Other programs supported through this event are Special Olympics, dictionaries for third graders, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Pagosa Outreach Connection, 9Health Fair, the Fourth of July Parade and many others.

By coming to this event, you are supporting all of these efforts as well as being guaranteed a wonderful time.

Anything from glitter and glam, gowns and black ties to Pagosa-style casual will be in order to celebrate this fine event. No matter what, a great time will be had by all and the community will be the winner.

You can be a star nominated for an Oscar at the Ross Aragon Community Center on Feb. 2. Tickets are only $40 and can be purchased from Rotary Club members, at Exit Realty on Putt Hill, or at Higher Grounds.  You can also call Shellie Peterson at 264-2014 and she will be happy to get you tickets.
