For those new to the area, The High Rollers are a popular band from Durango. Their foundation is country-rock, but they mix classic rock, Spanish and classic country, along with a stage show that includes humor and warm personal interaction with the audience to provide a fun evening of outdoor entertainment for the entire family. This is an annual event, and crowds grow each year as more and more people discover what a great entertainment value this is — especially considering all proceeds contribute to the local youth wrestling program.

The High Rollers have become a nationally recognized band, and their schedule over the past year attests to the quality of their show. Since playing in Town Park last summer, the band has opened for Little Texas and Travis Tritt, as well as opening and playing multiple shows for Country Jam and Montana Headwaters Jam, two of the largest country music festivals in the nation. In addition, the High Rollers have released a new CD that has received significant air time on Four Corners and western slope Colorado radio stations.

Check out the band’s website at highrollersband.com for reviews, photos, music, videos and a link to their Facebook page.

Admission is by donations (a minimum $2 donation is requested). Barbecue sandwiches, chips and non-alcoholic drinks will be sold. There will be a 15-minute live auction at intermission and a baked goods silent auction throughout the evening to raise additional money for the wrestling club. In addition, Pagosa Mountain Morning Rotary club will provide a beer garden. The wrestling club receives the benefit funds and uses money primarily for travel and practice uniforms.

Come and enjoy great food and entertainment as the sun sets in Pagosa’s beautiful Town Park.
