The Hazel Miller Band, based in Denver, has performed locally, regionally and nationally for more than 20 years. They play original music, as well as jazz, soul, blues and dance favorites for audiences that love the high-energy show. Whether she is singing blues, jazz, pop, or gospel, Hazel’s voice charges the songs with a primal dose of genuine soul.
Hazel began her career in Louisville, Ky., where she rose to the top of the music scene. She opened for popular artists such as Mel Torme, James Brown, The Temptations, Earl Klugh, Bob James and many others.
You don’t want to miss out on this one-of-a kind event. The Hazel Miller Band is coming back to Pagosa Springs to bring another amazing concert to the Ross Aragon Community Center. Come down and enjoy a cash bar and light hors d’oeuvres. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 25. Tickets are on sale now for $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Don’t miss out on the first-ever movie night here at the Ross Aragon Community Center on Wednesday, July 30. The first presentation will be the ’80s classic “Goonies.” Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the movie will start at 6:30 p.m. Don’t forget to bring a chair, beanbag or comfy blankets to enjoy the flick. Doubles Grass Volleyball Tournament is $30 per division, double elimination men’s, women’s and co-ed divisions.
