Dear Editor:

Whether folks believe it or not, Obama ultimately has no loyalty to anyone but himself, and having run his last campaign, he’s now done with donors, he doesn’t need bundlers, he doesn’t care about the Democrat Party. So they could be next.

Coincidentally, Obummer says he’s not done raising taxes. “Obviously, there is still more to do,” Obama declared in a recent video. “And I’m willing to do more, as long as we do it in a balanced way that doesn’t put all the burden on seniors or students or middle class families, but also asks the wealthiest Americans to contribute and pay their fair share.”

Yep, the rich are still in his sights. But wait jist a minute, I thought the fiscal cliff deal already protected seniors and students and the middle class. But he says they need more protection. The fact of the matter is, they need protection from “him.”

It doesn’t fit the Obama-is-savior narrative, so you won’t see it reported, but all across the fruited plain, ordinary people are furious that their paychecks are smaller. The Democrats allowed the temporary payroll tax cut to expire, which means people will take home, on average, $1,000 less this year. According to the Tax Policy Center, Obama’s deal means higher income taxes for 70 percent of Americans.

Yes, for those who been paying attention, there’s already a middle class tax increase, and there will be more. You can take it to the bank; Obama will never be done raising taxes as long as he is in office. It’s what defines him.

But the result of his policies is an attack on individuals, particularly younger people, who seek to acquire wealth. That’s been part of the American dream for as long as there has been an America: wanting to improve your lot in life, desiring to improve your standard of living for you and your family.

Parents have always wanted their kids to do better than they have. That’s been central to the dream, and acquiring wealth has been part of that. But now the very notion is portrayed as despicable. It stinks. This is what Obama believes, and he’s succeeded in persuading a lot of Americans to believe it, too.

Under the Obama Regime, there really are two Americas: some Americans are targets. Successful people who are earning are targets. It’s infuriating, and it’s putting a damper on the ambitions of an entire generation.

Young people have always sought success, but it’s impossible to begin to acquire wealth without income. Obama is protecting those who already have their wealth, the asset rich, his donors. At the same time, he is at war with those who have not yet acquired their wealth but wish for an opportunity to do so. Taxing income, as Obama is doing and wants to do even more, is aimed at harming those who haven’t yet acquired wealth — but want to. Your kids. Maybe even you.

With the re-Immaculation, America marks the halfway point of Obama’s reign — and even darker days are ahead.
