‘Hairspray’ to be presented in April

The Tony-Award-winning Musical “Hairspray,” first performed on the Broadway stage in 1972,will be playing at Pagosa Springs High School the first week of April.

Produced by the music and theater departments at the high school, “Hairspray” brought out almost 60 student actors to auditions, of which 49 were cast.

Included in the cast are Johannah Laverty, Spence Scott, Jeremy Medina, Taylor Jones, Cierra Caler, Brooke Kudelski, Mason Chronowski, Gus Palma, Tai Gallegos, Hayley Mitchell, Brayden Mitchell, Jessey Hampton, Zach Ellis, Angette Pastuszek, Tyler Greenly, Juliana Ellsmore, Teeka Murphy, Trent Stevens, Colton Polczynski and Josh Harwood.

Rehearsals are underway for this fabulous and fun ‘60s musical!
