For one night only, you can come see Pagosa’s own acting troupe, the Gypsy Players.

Sponsored by Curtains Up Pagosa’s 25th anniversary year and founded by Becca Stephens, the Gypsy Players are a group of local college and high school students who just love the stage and the thrill of acting. All but one of the players has received training through Curtains Up/Music Boosters and the high school performing arts program led by Dale Johnson, Dan and Venita Burch, and Sean Downing.

Led by a counsel of members, the Gypsy players direct, costume and produce shows on their own. This year, the group members are Laura Kelly, Elliott Reed, Jessey Hampton, Teeka Murphy, Mia Jones, Taylor Jones, Jacqueline Hampton and Kitman Gill. They are led by Trace Gross, David Smith, Ayriana Rackham, Cierra Keating and Ben Reece.

Come see the Gypsy Players Friday at 7 p.m. at Pagosa Springs High School. Admission is free and donations are welcome.
