The 2013 Turkey Trot will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28 — Thanksgiving morning.
The Turkey Trot benefits the Pagosa Lakes Porpoises Swim Team and the Pagosa Springs High School cross country team.
The early entry fees are $20 for adults, $5 for kids 12 and under. The day of the race, fees are $25 for adults, $10 for the kids.
The Turkey Trot includes a five-mile run over mostly paved (some gravel) roads, with rolling hills. The walk is on pavement and grass, and is relatively flat. The event will happen come snow, rain or shine.
There will also be a traditional bake sale, with lots of goodies.
Please turn in registration forms with a check at the Pagosa Lakes Recreation Center on Park Avenue.
