The women of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church are now receiving gently used winter clothing (infant, children, youth and adult sizes), bedding and accessories for their upcoming clothing giveaway.
You are encouraged to start looking through your winter clothes, determine what you can part with and bring your donations to Airport Self Storage, 200 County Road 600 (Piedra Road).
They will be received on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon during the month of September.
These clothes will be given away at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church on Oct. 20 from 8 a.m. to noon. Warm coats, sweaters, scarves and gloves, along with heavy clothing, are particularly sought.
“The clothing giveaway provides sturdy, warm clothes for children and adults during the cold winter months. We appreciate all donations to help us keep Pagosa warm,” said Fr. Doug Neel, rector of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church.
