Winter thrills and spills

School was out, the snow had fallen, and the sun was shining — creating the perfect atmosphere for visitors and locals alike to take to the outdoors for some winter fun. Popular sledding hills in town were full of those looking for downhill fun, and the town’s skate pond behind the River Center on the east side of town offered others the opportunity to glide across the frozen water with less help from gravity.
