It seems like athletes get all the glory, but last Saturday, the tables were turned — being marginal (while having a great time) was the goal. At the annual Cruise-A-Thong, also called, “the race for the average Joe,” the goal was to be average, and nearly 200 participants took part. The event began with a bike ride through town, followed by a walk and a float down the river, with the participant with the average time crowned champion.
