FolkWest receives Colorado Creative Industries grant

FolkWest has been awarded a matching grant of $8,500 from Colorado Creative Industries (CCI), a division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade.
This grant is administered through CCI’s Colorado Creates Program and will support performing artist fees at the 2019 Pagosa Folk ‘N Bluegrass and Four Corners Folk Festival events, both held annually on Reservoir Hill.
State grants are awarded through a competitive process. This grant signifies that FolkWest provides a high-level of quality in its programs, community service and administrative ability.
Pagosa Folk ‘N Bluegrass will celebrate its 14th festival June 7-9, 2019, and the 24th annual Four Corners Folk Festival will take place Aug. 30-Sept. 1, 2019. The events have a combined attendance of more than 15,000 people over six days, with an annual economic significance to the southwest Colorado region of more than $3.5 million.
Preliminary lineups will be announced and discounted 2019 festival tickets will go on sale on Dec. 11 at www.folkwest.com.
