Finally … snow. Pagosans woke Friday morning to a mantle of snow on the ground, and more falling, as a winter storm moved into the San Juans. Friday’s colder temperatures are predicted to be accompanied by as much as 6 inches of snow in downtown Pagosa Springs, with more predicted for a breezy Friday night. More snow is in the forecast for Saturday — an additional 1-3 inches. The forecast has at least 8 inches falling on Pagosa Springs during the storm with greater amounts at higher elevations. Partly cloudy conditions are forecast for Sunday. There is a chance for snow showers Monday and sunny skies are predicted for Pagosa Country Tuesday.
