Father’s Day Remembrance at UU Fellowship

On Sunday, June 16, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will have a special Father’s Day Remembrance service, led by Merlin Wheeler.

Wheeler asks the question, “Do you know when Father’s Day was first recognized as a special holiday?”

He will not only answer the question, but will present some history on Father’s Day.  This will lead to presentations by three diverse Fellowship members, who will talk about their fathers and what they meant in their lives.

Merlin Wheeler is a graduate of Michigan State University, and received his Ph. D. in hydrology at the University of Arizona.

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall.  The address is Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza.  Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the fire station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.  All are welcome.
