The Chimney Rock Interpretive Association (CRIA) recently received a donation check from ExxonMobil as part of its support of employees/annuitants who participate in local volunteer activities.
Together with IBM annuitants Jeanie and Joe Lemmo, IBM’s “Community on Demand Program” and ExxonMobil’s “Volunteer Involvement Program,” IBM and ExxonMobil have contributed over $10K in cash and equipment to CRIA in the last six years.
CRIA, as a non-profit organization, greatly appreciates contributions to help protect, maintain and provide the public with an enjoyable experience while visiting Chimney Rock National Monument. In addition to supporting staff salaries, monies are needed for maintenance supplies/materials, sales inventory, publishing costs and special event expenses.
If you are interested in becoming a Chimney Rock volunteer and would like to join in the excitement of volunteering at our country’s newest National Monument, please call 731-7133.
CRIA operates in partnership with the USDA Forest Service and the San Juan National Forest.
