After a month of raising awareness and funds, Big Brothers Big Sisters thanks everyone involved in Bowl for Kids’ Sake with a fun afternoon of bowling, food and friends at a special bowling alley created for just one day at the PowerHouse Youth Center in downtown Pagosa Springs.
Classic Car Show

Downtown Pagosa will be filled with color, class and style as antique cars from many states are brought to Pagosa, where their owners — and spectators — can enjoy our great weather, warm hospitality and stunning mountain vistas.
Pagosa Fiber Festival

Those who have never been to the Fiber Festival are in for a treat for the whole family and those who have, will want to repeat the experience. Events are ongoing in several different locations, much like a three-ring circus.
Fun Day Rodeo Series
Varied dates, May - September
Children 5 years of age and younger compete in barrels, poles, a flag race, goat tying and breakaway roping. For riders 6 to 8 years old, there is barrel racing, pole bending, a ribbon race and a flag race.

The lineup of events for 9 to 11, 12 to 14, 15 to 19 and 20-and-over age groups includes barrel racing, pole bending, flag race, breakaway roping, steer stopping, ribbon roping and goat tying.

Wounded Warrior Project
June 1 - 5
Depending on their level of interest and ability, the guests will go horseback riding, white water rafting, fishing, hiking and camping. Each will be given the opportunity to soak in geothermal mineral baths and receive massages, take historic tours of Pagosa Springs and attend a Thursday night rodeo performance.
Folk ‘n Bluegrass Festival

World renowned musical artists bring Reservoir Hill to life as soulful voices and high steppin’ music give listeners the full spectrum of bluegrass sounds.
Relay for Life
June 19 and 20
Relay for Life is an overnight community event where individuals and teams camp out and take turns walking around a track, relay-style, from 6 p.m. on Friday night to 8 a.m. Saturday, all in an effort to raise funds to fight cancer. The family-oriented event gives participants the opportunity to enjoy community camaraderie and raises funds to support the work of the American Cancer Society.

Included once again in the schedule is a free outdoor family concert, which has been a perennial favorite. The full festival orchestra will perform, this time under the baton of newly appointed music director and conductor Guillermo Figueroa.
60th Annual Red Ryder Roundup

There is no question, the Red Ryder Roundup is “The Event” in Pagosa Springs and the longest-standing community event of the summer. During the roundup, the town is packed, fun is in the air and there is plenty of activity for everyone in the family.
Park to Park Arts and Crafts Festival

You’ll find over 90 vendors at the festival offering clothing, paintings, pottery, jewelry, unique handcrafted wares, food and more.
Renaissance & Pirate Festival

Step back to a time when technology was nonexistent, eating utensils were not very common, the mode of dress was very different, and speech was more formal and stilted.
Wyndham Arts and Crafts Festival

The festival features a plethora of vendors of arts and crafts items and food, located on the greens outside the Wyndham Resort on U.S. 160.
Family Festivo

This event always delights family audiences with a short musical stage presentation including talented members of the Music in the Mountains orchestra. This presentation is offered free of charge and lunch and games for the children are also part of the afternoon’s entertainment.
Archuleta County Fair

Now in its 58th year, the annual, four-day Archuleta County Fair is one of the highlights of the summer season for locals and visitors alike.
Auction for the Animals

Four Corners Folk Festival

The music phenomenon is expanded over the Labor Day weekend when three days of music fills the mountains at the Four Corners Folk Festival. Late night jam sessions, instructional sets and a whole arena of talented artists are on tap.
