A fund-raiser to benefit Dolly Martin from 2-9 p.m. at the Buffalo Inn. Featuring seven bands and a day with Dolly, who is battling cancer. The entry price is $5 per person, which includes one raffle ticket.

Mother’s Day breakfast

Knights of Columbus Mother’s Day breakfast to benefit the Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center, 9:30 a.m.-noon, John Paul II Catholic Church. Pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, orange juice. Adults, $6, children 6-12, $3, under 6 free. Open to the Pagosa Springs community.

Chili Supper Benefit for Michael Martinez

5:30-7 p.m. at the Parish Hall. A full chili dinner, including cornbread and dessert, will be served for $8 per plate. Martinez was seriously injured in a propane explosion in early April.

Kentucky Derby Gala

Hosted by the Pagosa Springs Rotary at Keyah Grande Lodge from 2-6 p.m. This new Rotary event includes betting, a hat contest, live music, cash bar, delicious food and a great time while helping to raise funds to support Rotary’s diverse programs in our community. A Colorado Night to Remember

Mystery dinner theater

There’s a Death at the Danbury Inn!  Join local sleuths at 6 p.m. at Winslow on the Shire, 3366 U.S. 84, to figure out who killed Lord Danbury. Included are a light dinner, cash bar and prizes for the winning team. Crafted by law enforcement officers of Pagosa, proceeds will benefit LASSO’s rescued horses, providing equine therapy.  Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door, and can be purchased at Home Again or Pagosa Feed and Nursery. Dirk & Colt Ross Memorial Basketball Tournament

Proceeds go to scholarship fund to benefit local youth of Pagosa Springs. Admission $3/ Adult, $2 Student, Free for 8 and under. On April 19, action at the junior high, middle school and high school gyms runs from 2-10 p.m. On April 20 games at the high school are set for 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; competition at the other gyms runs from 8:30 a.m.-10 p.m. A special memorial presentation, slam-dunk contest and three-point shootout will take place at 6 p.m. Friday at the junior high gym. Recycled Arts Show

Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County’s second annual show, at 602 San Juan St., 6-9 p.m. Gallery opening and Meet the Artists Event, $20/person. Recycled art workshops held at 11 a.m., noon, 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. for $5/person. Make your own T-shirt scarf or design a recycled frame. See the many different recycled artworks by local artists, meet and mingle with the artists and purchase their artwork, enjoy hors d’oeuvres by local caterers, refreshments, and bid on a variety of items at the silent auction.
