The Pagosa Piecemakers Quilt Guild will hold its May 2013 meeting at 10 a.m. The program this month will be Pam Thompson demonstrating “Trapunto.” The meeting will be held at CrossRoad Christian Fellowship, 1044 Park Ave. Additional information about the guild is on the website, www.pagosapiecemakers.com. All area women are invited to come to the Extension Building at the fairgrounds for the Mountain View Homemaker’s monthly meeting. Plan to arrive at 11:30 a.m., the covered dish luncheon will be at noon, Aileen Wolfer’s report on current and future recycling in Pagosa and Tozi Rubin’s update for members about Chimney Rock National Monument. Members should bring something they have cooked or picked up; visitors should not bring food.

The Pagosa Springs Photography Club will meet at Shy Rabbit Contemporary Arts, 333 Bastille Drive. Socializing starts at 6 p.m. followed by the program, photo critiquing and business meeting at 6:30.
