10 a.m.-noon at the Pagosa Springs Elementary School art room. Kids in first through sixth grades are welcome to attend with an adult and create art projects, as well as meet this summer’s arts camp staff. There is space available for 10 students and parents. Snowman Stomp Snowshoe Romp begins at 11 a.m. The annual Snow Sculpting contest will be on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. at the Visitor’s Center on Hot Springs Blvd. At 2 p.m. the “Anything Goes Downhill Sled Race” will take place on Reservoir Hill. On Friday and Saturday evenings will be the Outlaw Snowdown concert at the athletic field in Town Park. There will be food, beverages and lots of live, rockin’ music. Tickets on sale at www.outlawsnowdown.com. Sunday is the Penguin Plunge, benefiting various nonprofits in the community.
