The Pagosa Springs Elementary School Book Fair will be the group’s Day of Service project for 2013. Members will help Lisa Scott put the finishing touches on setup as well as assist the children as they choose the books they want to buy. Hours will be 12:30-4 p.m. Meet in the lobby at 12:30 p.m. If you cannot stay the whole time, that is fine. Those of you with Pi Phi vests, please wear them. Book Fair
Pagosa Springs Elementary School will host the Scholastic Book Fair during school hours in the school library. Families, teachers, and the community are invited to attend the Fair, which will feature a special theme: Story Laboratory — Reading Gives You Super Power! CDC
The Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation meets at 5:30 p.m. at the Quality Resort. The CDC will share its Strategic Plan and more information about the board of advisors, followed by community discussion and CDC project updates. A casual reception to mix and mingle with the PSCDC board, members of the business community and interested citizens will take place after the meeting.
