Snowman Stomp Snowshoe Romp begins at 11 a.m. The annual Snow Sculpting contest will be on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. at the Visitor’s Center on Hot Springs Blvd. At 2 p.m. the “Anything Goes Downhill Sled Race” will take place on Reservoir Hill. On Friday and Saturday evenings will be the Outlaw Snowdown concert at the athletic field in Town Park. There will be food, beverages and lots of live, rockin’ music. Tickets on sale at www.outlawsnowdown.com. Sunday is the Penguin Plunge, benefiting various nonprofits in the community. “The Vagina Monologues”
The show runs for six nights only, Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts. When you purchase your ticket there is also an option to donate an additional $10 to the Victims Assistance Program. Tickets to the show are $18 in advance and $25 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased by calling 731-SHOW (7469) or by visiting www.pagosacenter.org. Reservations are highly recommended.
