The Sarah Platt Decker Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold its monthly meeting at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 910 East Third Avenue, Durango at 10:00 a.m. Suzanne Parker will present a program on Victorian fashion accessories. “Why Meditate?” 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Debra Quayle Travis, resident teacher at Tara Mandala, will lead the Pagosa Sangha in a shamatha meditation and offer a talk/discussion on the topic of the benefits of meditation.
