Town Tourism Committee Meetings are held in the South Conference Room at the Ross Aragon Community Center. All meetings are open to the public. Additional meetings may be held as necessary and are posted as to the time, place, and agenda prior to the meeting.

Birding 101
Becky Gillette, Audubon’s Southwest regional director, will present the last bird identification training session in preparation for Weminuche Audubon’s second annual Christmas Bird Count at 6:30 p.m. in the South Conference Room at the Ross Aragon Community Center. The session will be a good opportunity to ask questions, to be sure you have the necessary paperwork, to review the details of what happens on CBC day (Dec. 15), and to know how to properly fill out and submit your bird data. Presented by Curtains Up Pagosa (formerly Music Boosters). Performances are at 7 p.m. each night at the High School auditorium. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 65 and older and $10 for students and are available at the Chamber of Commerce office and at the door.
