Fresh off her win at the XTERRA Pagosa Springs and then, a week later, competing in the XTERRA U.S. Championships in Utah, Shonny Vanlandingham will race again in Pagosa, at Epic Mountain Challenge on Oct. 5-6.

Career facts: Vanlandingham won national titles in mountain bike, short track and cross country before moving onto the XTERRA off-road triathlon format racing where she further excelled. Recently winning championship titles in Japan, Brazil and a podium in South Africa, she was also four-time U.S. national XTERRA champion culminating in a 2010 XTERRA World Championship title in Hawaii. Showing the depth of her athleticism, prior to this Shonny also played all conference collegiate basketball and was in the U.S. National Team Handball squad.
